Why Use a Flex-Hone?
A hone is designed to remove imperfections in a cylinder after it has been machined or if fitting new piston rings.
The cylinder can put a cross hatch surface pattern on the bore allowing for oil retention and reduced wear.
Prior to use a Flex-Hone should be soaked in hone oil for up to 30 minutes as they are brittle when dry. This extends the life of the Flex-Hone.
Flex-Hones are available in a range of diameters from 4mm through to 900mm. We also stock honing oil to suit.
